I mentioned in a prior post that I’m best known for my Holeshot series, so I wanted to share some Holeshot news. First, the next book, Tricky Tracks is coming soon. Hopefully, July. Second, I’m going to have brand new covers for the entire series. So, this graphic may be the last time you see these covers.
People have asked me why I write Supercross/dirt bike racing and what inspired me. My father raced dirt bikes when I was young, and it’s one of my favorite memories of him. He was a southern boy, go-getter, and loved life. He passed away when I was about seven or eight. When I saw a Supercross race on TV back in early 2015, it caught my attention. I remembered my father, and simultaneously, a new character started talking to me. Davey McAllister was born.
And so was committing to seriously writing MM Romance. I’d had one title out prior to Holeshot, that didn’t do as well, and I wasn’t certain this was my path. Davey and Tyler pretty much dictated their story. It was synergy. Now I have 4 titles and counting. Tricky Tracks will be #5.
I don’t even have the blurb for Tricky Tracks yet, but I can tell you this is Cole Lindt’s redemption story. He gave Davey and Tyler a lot of trouble in the first book, and it’s taken him a long time to come into his own. Now, he’s getting his own book along with his love interest, Nikolai “Nix” Braumere, who is a Videographer/documentarist filming Cole’s recovery. (He was injured at the very end of Bike Business.).
The Hotshot, 1
In the world of Supercross, taking the holeshot means one racer leaps ahead of the crowd and into first, leaving the rest of the pack behind. If Supercross racer Davey McAllister knows anything, it's how to take the holeshot. When the hot rising start mechanic, Tyler Whitmore, shows up in his bed, Davey does just that. But, dating a competitor's mechanic threatens to blow his ride if anyone finds out. With the fear of losing his sponsors, he has to keep his love life completely under cover, but Davey is in deep and wants to tell the world how much he loves Tyler. Tyler Whitmore wants to be out of the closet, but dating the competition is a death sentence for his career. Overprotective of Davey's reputation and his own dreams, Tyler refuses to commit to his lover and is afraid of falling hard. Will they ever be able to find their way through the Premiere racing league pitfalls and acknowledge their love?
